‘Airy-Fairy, Lairy and Scary’ – New Art From Scotland.
The aim of this project was to showcase the work of emerging Scottish artists in the United States. The artists selected were Liam Crichton, Cornelius Dupre, Louise Gibson, Kevin Harman, Rachel Maclean and Tim Sandys. In November 2013, the artists travelled to Philadelphia to exhibit their work at The Sculpture Gym. On opening night, the show was the number one pick for the Philadelphia critics’ blog. The exhibition ran for a month and received good attendances throughout. This fantastic international exposure for the artists would not have been possible without the grant from The Bridge Awards, and we thank them for their support.
